Marvelous Monday
** Language Arts: We checked our Unit 8 spelling work. Our test on the spelling words is tomorrow. Please study!!
** Math: We corrected homework from Thursday. Please finish page 134 for tomorrow.
** Social Studies - We had a test today on the physical regions of Canada. By the end of class on Friday students should have completed their response to the Topic A Assessment. Students will have lots of class time to work on this during the week so all they should be doing at home with you is maybe giving you a look at what they've done each day. They should also be self evaluating their work according to the rubric as they go.
** Notices - A number of notices went home today. Normally I only send things out Wednesdays but look for newsletters and special notices in the student's backpacks tonight.

Welcome Miss Leite
Hello all. In Band, the kids will be doing playing tests on Thursday. We will have theory handouts and I will call pairs of students up to complete the test. The kids have two weeks notice of a test and we will practice the piece in class. I have been taking kids during our sectional time to work on basic and they seem to be enjoying it. I am very excited about this year. Lets work hard and have a successful year.
Frenzied Friday

Reminder about Spelling Unit 8 due on Monday.
*** Social Studies - Test on Canadian regions on Monday. Be sure to look over your information chart to prepare for the test.
